Woolooware railway station is on the Cronulla Branch Line of the Sydney Trains network. It serves the suburb of Woolooware. Station entry is from a set of lifts and stairs on each side of Swan Street.

Woolooware is staffed from 6:00am to 7:00pm on weekdays, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on weekends and public holidays.[1]

History[]

Woolooware station opened on 16 December 1939 when the Cronulla line opened from Sutherland to Cronulla. As part of the Rail Clearways Program, the line between Caringbah and Cronulla was duplicated, with the single side platform being converted into an island platform. The new platform opened in April 2010.

Configuration[]

Woolooware station has a single island platform, with stairs and lifts to a small overhead concourse. There are further stairs and lifts from the concourse to Swan St.

Woolooware is served by Cronulla branch services on the T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawara Line.
