Transdev Sydney is a privately-owned public transport operator. It is responsible for operating all current and future light rail services within Sydney. They also have a number of bus service contracts in Sydney.

The company first entered rail operations in 1999 with the L1 Dulwich Hill Line (then Metro Light Rail). They successfully bid to operate the L2/L3 CBD and Southeastern Line as part of the ALTRAC consortium (an alliance between Acciona, Alstom, Capella Capita and Transdev) in 2014. The line opened in 2019-2020. Transdev is also set to operate Parramatta Light Rail as part of the Great River City Light Rail consortium.
