Telarah railway station is a station located on the Hunter Line. The station consists of 1 platform in a side formation. It serves the suburbs of Telarah and Rutherford. Telarah serves as the intermediate terminus for most Hunter Line services.

History[]

The station opened on 14th August 1911 as West Maitland Marshalling Yard and was renamed Telarah on 15th April 1922.[1]

On 18th January 2018, a freight train derailed at the station. No one was injured, though it caused a temporary line closure. [2]
