Seven Hills railway station is located on the Main Western railway line and is 32km from Sydney CBD.[1] It serves the suburbs of Kings Langley, Lalor Park and Seven Hills. The station consists of 2 islands (forming 4 platforms), with access from stairs and lifts at Terminus Road and The Hills Crescent. Seven Hills is serviced by T1 Western and T5 Cumberland line trains in both directions.
Seven Hills is staffed 24 hours everyday.[2]
History[]
Seven Hills station opened on 1 December 1863. The station was rebuilt in the 1940s when the Main Western line was quadrupled.
Immediately west of the station, the Richmond line branches off via a 1955-built pre-stressed concrete girder bridge.
