Penshurst is a station on the Illawarra railway line of the Sydney Trains network, serving the southern Sydney suburb of the same name. Station entry is via a set stairs and lift each at Bridge Street and Laycock Road.
Penshurst is staffed from 6:00am to 7:00pm on weekdays, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on weekends and public holidays.[1]
History[]
Penshurst station opened in 1886 being relocated south to its current location on 4 April 1905.

Penshurst station is located between Bridge Street, The Strand and Laycock Road in Penshurst. Station entry is from stairs and a lift on the entrances at Bridge Street and Laycock Road, which both connect to a footbridge. Another set of stairs and lift allows customers to access the platform.
