Pendle Hill railway station is located on the Main Western line and is 28.3km from Sydney CBD.[1] It serves the suburb of Pendle Hill. The station consists of 2 islands (forming 4 platforms), linked by a disability-accessible overhead concourse. Pendle Hill is served by Sydney Trains and services in both directions.
The station is staffed from 6am to 7pm on weekdays, and from 8am to 4pm on weekends.[2]
Pendle Hill station opened on 12 April 1924. The station was rebuilt in the 1940s when the Main Western line was quadrupled.
Upgrade[]
In 2015, work commenced on an upgrade to the station which included a new footbridge, concourse and lifts. The newly upgraded station opened in July 2017, and was part of the Transport Access Program.[3]
