Moree is a station on the Mungindi railway line. There are junctions nearby with the closed Inverell railway line and the Boggabilla railway line.
The station has two passing loops, with an island platform with one side on the main line and the other on the No. 1 Passing Loop. Only the side facing the main line is regularly used. The station is served by one NSW TrainLink north west Xplorer service per day to Sydney. There is a secure compound connected to the No. 2 Passing Loop which the train stables in overnight.
The station is currently closed (1 April 2021 until 31 October 2021) for Inland Rail works.
