Mindaribba railway station is a station located on the Hunter Line. The station consists of 1 platform in a side formation. It serves the suburb of Mindaribba. The station is noted for being very small.
History[]
The station opened as a full length platform under the name Dunmore on 14th August 1911. It was renamed Mindaribba on 1st April 1912.
At an unknown date, Mindaribba closed and reopened as a much smaller platform. [1]
Platforms and Services[]
Mindaribba station has two services to Dungog each day. Mindaribba has low patronage, so it is a request stop, with passengers being required to ask the guard to stop at the station, and flag the train when wanting to get on. Due to the platform also being about 3 metres long, passengers are required to exit through the front doors of the second carriage.
