Macksville railway station is a small regional station on the NSW TrainLink Regional North Coast line. It serves the town of Macksville.
History[]
Macksville station opened on 1 July 1919 when the line was extended from Kempsey.
Configuration[]
Macksville has a single platform on the main line. A goods yard and passing loop were formerly located opposite to the station, however they were disconnected in June 2012.
Services[]
There are six XPT trains on the NSW TrainLink Regional North Coast line that stop at Macksville station daily: one each to Grafton, Casino and Brisbane (Roma St) and three going to Sydney (Central). The Brisbane service and final Sydney service of the day only stop at the station on request. [1]
