Lewisham West Light Rail Station is the nineteenth stop on the L1 Dulwich Hill Line from Central.

It is located between Longport Street, Old Canterbury Road, Edward Street and Smith Street.

Configuration[]

The stop consists of 2 staggered side platforms with a level crossing in the middle. There are a number of disused sidings near the station that are no longer connected to the mainline. They were used before the line was converted to light rail for the nearby Mungo Scott Flour Mills.

There are also two crossovers to the north of this stop that allow trams to terminate on either platform and return to the north in case the line is closed to the south. They are rarely used.

Services[]

The stop is served by regular L1 Dulwich Hill Line services in both directions towards Central and Dulwich Hill.

This stop is also an interchange point between trains and light rail. T2 Inner West line trains stop at the nearby Lewisham railway station.
