Lapstone railway station is located along the Main Western railway and is 63.6km from Sydney CBD.[1] It serves the outer suburbs of Leonay and Lapstone. The station consists of 2 side platforms, accessed by an overhead footbridge. Lapstone is serviced by Blue Mountains Line trains in both directions.

History[]

Lapstone Station opened on 24 February 1964.

Upgrade[]

In the early 2020s, a new lift was built along with various other accessibility improvements at Lapstone as part of the Transport Access Program. Construction began in February 2020 and was finished in April 2021.[2][3]
