Kempsey railway station is a regional station on the North Coast railway line. It serves the town of Kempsey and is 503.6km from Sydney.
History[]
Kempsey station opened on 3 December 1917 when the line was extended from Wauchope. It served as the terminus of the line until 1 July 1919, when the line was extended to Macksville.
Configuration[]
Kempsey has a single platform on the main line and a passing loop, together with a small yard.
Services[]
There are six XPT trains on the NSW TrainLink Regional North Coast line that stop at Kempsey station daily: one each to Grafton, Casino and Brisbane (Roma St) and three going to Sydney (Central).
