Kembla Grange (also known as Kembla Grange Racecourse) is a station located on the South Coast Line. The station consists of a single platform alongside the single track line. Access to the station is provided from a service road off West Dapto Rd. Located adjacent to the station is Kembla Grange Racecourse.
History[]
Kembla Grange opened on 1 January 1890. Due to the nearby racecourse, a private siding for loading horses was opened on 25 March 1912. The siding was removed on 6th April 1942.
On 20 October 2021, a northbound Tangara set approaching the station collided at high speed with a stolen car that had been parked on the tracks and derailed. There was significant damage to the train and overhead wiring equipment.
