Jannali is a station on the Illawarra railway line of the Sydney Trains network. It serves the Sutherland Shire suburb of the same name. Station entry is via a footbridge between Jannali Avenue and Railway Crescent.
Jannali is staffed from 6:00am to 7:00pm on weekdays, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on weekends and public holidays.[1]
History[]
Jannali station opened on 7 February 1931. The development was requested and largely funded by Sutherland Shire Council. The road bridge over the railway at Jannali was constructed at the same time as the station.
A minor upgrade was completed in April 2013. Improvements included redesigning and rebuilding the ramp on the western side of the station and upgrading the footpath on the eastern side of the station.
The station received a more substantial upgrade in 2017, when a footbridge with lifts was built.
A new commuter car park is being planned at Jannali, as part of the government's $3 billion Infrastructure and Job Acceleration Fund. [2]

Jannali station is located between Jannali Avenue and Railway Crescent, with entrances at both streets. These entrances contain stairs and lifts that connect to a footbridge and the platforms.
Jannali is the only station between Hurstville and Sutherland to consist of side platforms instead of one island platform.

Jannali is served by Sydney Trains T4 services, usually at a frequency of 4 trains per hour in each direction.
