Holsworthy railway station, is on the East Hills railway line of the Sydney Trains network. It serves the suburb of Holsworthy, and surrounding areas such as Wattle Grove and Hammondville. Station entry is accessed from Macarthur Drive. Also located near the station is the Holsworthy Army Barracks.
Holsworthy is staffed from 6:00am to 7:00pm on weekdays, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on weekends and public holidays.[1]
History[]
Holsworthy station was opened on 21 December 1987 as part of the East Hills Line's extension to Glenfield.
In 2009, a multi-deck car park was installed over the existing car park and added 350 car spaces for commuters. The car park was further improved in 2016 and added on another 462 commuter spaces. The car park was part of the Transport Access Program.[2]
