Dora Creek railway station is a railway station located on the Main North railway line. It serves the suburb of Dora Creek in the Lake Macquarie region.
The station can be accessed by steps from Newport Rd and B53. There is no wheelchair access at this station. There are Opal validators, but no top-up machines at this station. There is a small unmarked commuter carpark to the west of the station.
The station opened in 1889 with two side platforms. It originally had a substantial weatherboard building on the down side, this was demolished in the 1990s and replaced with the current lightweight structures and is now unattended by station staff.
Platforms and services[]
The station is served by NSW TrainLink's Central Coast and Newcastle line services to Gosford, Sydney (Central) and Newcastle. There is usually one train per hour, with more during peak periods and less on nights and weekends.
