Clyburn Railway Station is a disused railway station on the Main Suburban railway line.
It was a railway employee only island platform located between the up and down suburban tracks (the southern pair of main line tracks), between Clyde and Auburn stations. These tracks are now used by and trains.
It served Clyde Yard to the north and the former NSWGR workshops (now Auburn Maintenance Facility) to the south, with a footbridge allowing workers to cross over the running lines to either yard. This footbridge was dismantled largely due to safety issues in 2006. There was no public access available.
Trains normally only stopped at the beginning and ending of workshop work times but a lantern was in the station's awning for railway employees to "flag" down trains if they were working outside of normal hours.
As the station was never open to the public, there is very little information about when it opened or closed. All that is known is that it opened around 1948 and closed around 1991. It remained intact until 20–27 December 2009, when it was demolished, with only small sections of platform left where the stanchions are anchored.
In 2016, Clyburn station was accidentally shown as a train station on Sydney Buses' Western Region Guide. The error was pointed out on news websites and was promptly fixed by Sydney Buses.
