Caringbah railway station is on the Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra Line of the Sydney Trains network. It serves the suburb of Caringbah. Station entry is accessed from a concourse at Kingsway, near Denman Avenue.
Caringbah is staffed from 6:00am to 7:00pm on weekdays, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on weekends and public holidays.[1]
History[]
Caringbah station opened on 16 December 1939 when the Cronulla line opened from Sutherland to Cronulla. Caringbah was originally one of two stations on the single track, the other being Gymea.
On 15 July 1985, the line from Gymea to Caringbah was duplicated with a new track laid north of the existing single line. In April 2010, the rest of the line was duplicated.
In 2014, Caringbah station received a new canopy as part of the Transport Access Program.[2]

Caringbah station is located near Kingsway and Denman Avenue. Access to the station is provided via a concourse on the overpass at Kingsway, where customers can use stairs or a lift to access the platforms below.
