Burwood North metro station is an upcoming station on the Sydney Metro West line of the Sydney Metro network in Sydney, Australia. It will service the suburbs of Burwood and Concord. The station will be located at the intersection of Burwood and Parramatta Roads.
Construction[]
The following is the construction timeframe for stage one works: [1]
- Enabling and demolition works: Q4 2021 - Q1 2022
- Station box excavation: Q2 2022 - Q2 2023
- Turnback cavern excavation: Q4 2022 - Q4 2023
Configuration[]
Burwood North will be a fully underground station. It is designed to specifically reduce pressure on the existing T1 Western Line.
