Bexley North is a station on the East Hills railway line of the Sydney Trains network. It serves the suburb of Bexley North, as well as the nearby suburbs of Bexley and Earlwood. The station has a single entrance with a lift and stairs off the Bexley Road bridge.
Bexley North is staffed from 6:00am to 2:00pm on weekdays only.[1]
History[]
Bexley North station opened on 21 September 1931 when the East Hills line opened from Tempe to East Hills. In 2000, as part of the quadruplication of the line between Wolli Creek and Kingsgrove, through lines were added on either side of the existing pair.
As part of the Transport Access Program, the station received an accessibility upgrade. Works included a new entrance with a lift from Bexley Road, new accessible toilets and a ramp to the station carpark. The project was completed in October 2021.[2]
