Artarmon railway station is on the North Shore railway line of the Sydney Trains network. It serves the suburb of Artarmon. Station entry is from Hampden Road, with stairs and lifts connecting between street level, a footbridge and the platform.
Artarmon is staffed from 6:00am to 10:00pm on weekdays, and 6:00am to 7:00pm on weekends and public holidays.[1]
History[]
A temporary Artarmon station opened on 6 July 1898, before the present station opened on 7 October 1900. In April 2015, work commenced on the construction of a new footbridge which included a lift at the northern end of the platform.

Artarmon station is located on Hampden Road in Artarmon. The station consists of a single island platform, and serves trains on the T1 North Shore and Western Line and T9 Northern Line, as well as services to Gosford and Wyong during the peak.
Trivia[]
- Artarmon made an appearance in The Wiggles TV series Lights, Camera, Action, Wiggles! in a Where’s Jeff? segment as well as in a clip of the song of the same name. Tangara set T69 and S set S90 (now scrapped) also appear in the clip.
