Aberdare Junction was a station on the Cessnock Line, as well as the Stanford Merthyr Line, both of which are now closed. All three platforms were 60m long. The station's platforms are still intact, albeit overgrown.
History[]
Aberdare Junction opened on 30th July 1903. It closed on 23rd November 1952.[1]
